Robocasting Printed Filters, which are available in high purity alumina, mullite and zirconia-toughened alumina formulations are currently used by investment casting foundries in many demanding applications. Foseco will market Robocasting Printed Filters under its STELEX brand as STELEX 3D filters. The high quality and consistent performance of Robocasting Printed Filters are well aligned with industry needs. Printed ceramic filters offer unique capabilities including infinite customization of flow rate and filtration level. Coupled with Foseco application engineering and gating system optimization, investment casters can achieve higher levels of casting quality through turbulence and velocity control using ceramic filters. Robocasting Printed Filters are well suited to application in the pouring cup as well as more ideal locations of runner and gate positions.
