VA Technology is pleased to continue the second year of its apprenticeship program with the addition of four more engineering apprentices. Our team consists of individuals who have entered engineering through various paths, including degrees, apprenticeships, and vocational courses. We highly value apprenticeship programs for the hands-on experience they provide, allowing apprentices to work closely with our engineering experts. We actively promote collaboration within our multidisciplinary teams, encouraging knowledge-sharing and problem-solving to complete projects. The addition of engineering apprentices enriches Team VA’s diverse skill set. Last year, VA Technology welcomed five apprentices who are now in their second year of rotations. This includes project work within fabrication, electrical & controls, and systems assembly. “Starting an engineering apprenticeship has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my career. An apprenticeship allows me to work directly with experienced engineers. This hands-on experience is invaluable as I get to apply theoretical knowledge to project work at VA Technology, making learning more engaging and practical,” said Jacob Halota. What’s Next for VA Technology? Our commitment to supporting apprenticeship programs aligns perfectly with the current growth phase at VA Technology. We are pleased to now employ over 170 individuals globally, with specialists in mechanical, electrical, and design engineering.
